Description

Pimpinella genus. There are about 150 species of mostly annuals and perennials with entire or pinnate leaves, the flowers are dainty and star-shaped they are borne in umbrella-like heads. They are followed by small, oval-shaped fruits.

Cultivation

They are very frost hardy and will grow in a sunny protected position. You will need to provide a moist but well-drained, fertile soil. You can propagate from fresh seeds in mid to late spring.
