Pinellia genus. There are about 6 species of perennials, The plants are clump forming with narrow-stemmed basal leaves, they will vary in shape from simple, oval to pinnate. The flowers are purple-veined green spathes and yellow-green spadices. They are frost hardy and will need partial shade or sun with humus-rich soil.
You will need to plant in moist, well-drained soil in partial-shade. You can propagate from seeds or offsets or by division in early spring. Is dormant in winter.
