Pistia genus (Shell flower). One species of deciduous perennial floating water plant which is grown for its foliage. If grown in water above 19-21C it is evergreen.

Grown for its aquatic foliage. It is suitable for tropical aquariums and frost free pools.
They are grown in any pond or slow-moving water. They are frost tender, with a minimum temperature of 10-15C. and grow in sun or semi-shade.
You can propagate by separating plantlets during the growing period in the summer.
