Pleurothallis genus (Orchid). These are evergreen, epiphytic orchids, the perennials, consist of 3 outer sepals and 3 inner petals.

Grown for their beautiful and unusual flowers.
In temperate climates, they need to be grown in greenhouses. Can be grown in pots but also on slabs of bark. Weak foliar feeds can be added to the sprays.
Older leafless pseudobulbs which can be removed for replanting, or from new growth which may appear from the bottom of the plant.
Prone to red spider mites, aphids and mealy bugs.
