Polemonium genus (Jacob's ladder). This genus consists of about 25 species of annuals and perennials, they will form clumps of soft, bright green ferny pinnate leaves. The flowers are tubular, bell or funnel-shaped and usually white, blue or pink.

They are very frost hardy and easily cultivated in any moist, fertile, well-drained soil in sun or partial-shade.
