Prostanthera genus (Mint bush). These are about 50 species of woody, evergreen shrubs; they will smell when crushed. The flowers will appear during the spring and summer they are trumpet-like with 2 lips and they will bloom in green, white, blue and purple, and even red and yellow.
Grown for their flowers and mint-scented foliage.
They will need a warm climate and they prefer a sunny location with shelter from strong winds, with very well-drained soil. Leggy stems may be cut back after flowering.
You can propagate by seeds in the spring or by semi-ripe cuttings in late summer.
