Prunella genus. This genus consists of 7 species of semi-evergreen perennials, They will form low spreading clumps and bear opposite pairs of ovate to oblong, sometimes deeply lobed leaves. The flowering stems bear whorled spikes of 2- lipped tubular flowers which bloom in white, pink or purple. They are fully hardy and will grow well in sun or shade in moist but well drained soil.
