Pseudolarix genus (Golden larch). This genus consists of deciduous conifers. They are slow growing and cones which are held in clusters.
Deciduous, Conifers or Trees
You should plant in moist, rich, deep, well-drained, acid soil. They will need shelter from strong winds and abundant light. If the conifer produces more than one leader, to maintain the general conical habit, remove all but one leader. To restrict the height of the plant, the leader can be cut back.
Propagation is seed sown in autumn or spring (but forms selected for leaf colour do not come true). Evergreen current growth cuttings in autumn to spring. Deciduous softwood cuttings in summer.
Honey fungus may be a problem; young plants are more susceptible.
