Arrhenatherum genus (Oat grass). All the (grasses) have basal leaves and rounded flower stems that will bear alternate long narrow leaves. The flowers are bisexual with males and females in the same spikelet, the flowerheads will comprise of spikelets with one or more florets.
Africa and Asia
Seed in spring or autumn, or by division in autumn; however forms should be propagated by division only.
Usually little trouble from pests and diseases.
