Description

Rhapis humilis (Lady palm). This is a small genus of about 12 species of low-growing palms. They will form clumps of slender, bamboo-like stems which are deeply divided with fan-shaped leaves. The yellow male and female flowers will occur on separate plants. The fruits are small berries which contain a single seed. They are frost tender with a min of 15C. Give them partial shade and humus-rich well drained soil.
