Description

Rhipsalis genus (Mistletoe cactus). There are about 40 to 50 species. They will produce medium-sized or large epiphytes that will bloom in late winter or early spring. They will produce pendent green foliage, the flowers are small white or pale pink flowers and followed by white, black or pink berries.

Origin

C & S America, Africa, W. Indies

Cultivation

They are frost-tender plants (min 10-11C) which will prefer humid, warm conditions in full shade. They prefer atmospheric moisture to wet soil but should not be allowed to dry out entirely.

Propagation

You can propagate by seeds or stem cuttings in the spring or summer.
