Rhynchelytrum genus (Ruby grass). All 'grasses' have basal leaves and rounded flower stems that bear alternate long, narrow leaves. The flowers are bisexual with males and females in the same spikelet. Each flower head comprises of spikelets, with one or more florets, that are covered with glumes or scales.
