Description

Arum genus (Cuckoo pint). These are tuberous perennials. They have broad leaves which are arrowhead-shaped and veined. They are grown for their ornamental leaves and attractive spathes, each one enclosing a pencil shaped spandix of tiny flowers. They are fully to half hardy and will prefer sun or partial shade in moist but well drained soil. Propagation is by seeds in the autumn or by division in early autumn.
