Arundo genus (Giant reed). The leaves are long, narrow and alternate. The flowers are bisexual with males and females in the same spikelet, each flower head has spikelets.
Perennials, Evergreens, Herbaceous or Grasses
Seed in spring or autumn, or by division in autumn; however forms should be propagated by division only.
Usually little trouble from pests and diseases.
