Asperula genus (Woodruff). These are annuals and perennials. They will grow in mainly temperate regions. They have a dense mat-forming foliage; the leaves are narrow and arranged in whorls. In the spring and summer small white-pink flowers are produced. They are fully to frost hardy. Most species will need sun and well drained soil with moisture at the roots. Propagation is by softwood cuttings or seeds in early summer.
