Description

Sedum album (White stonecrop). This is a mat-forming plant with oblong to cylindrical or spherical leaves. The flowers are white and bloom in early summer to mid summer.

Cultivation

They will range from frost tender to fully frost hardy. They prefer to grow in fertile, porous soil, but can grow in most soil types. They will need full sun, and you can propagate from seed, division or cuttings.

Propagation

You can propagate the perennials, the sub-shrubs and shrubs by softwood cuttings of non-flowering shoots or by division from spring to mid-summer. Or you can grow from seed sown in autumn or spring.

Slugs and snails outdoors, under glass aphids, scale insects, mealy bugs and vine weevil.
