Description

Sophora japonica (Japanese pagoda tree). This tree is prized for its flowers which appear in elegant clusters in late summer, and has a wide-spreading habit. This is a long lived tree, that will bloom regularly. The dark green leaves are about 7-10inches long, and are divided into 5-17 leaflets. When in bloom, the tree is covered with clusters of beautiful pea-shaped creamy-white flowers.
