It’s nearly the end of February, there is still frost at night and some of the plants look shabby… Before I can see where the weeds are, I need to ‘tidy up’.…
They will thrive in most garden conditions, they will prefer a warm summer. Grow them in moist, well-drained soil and sheltered from hot sun, especially in warm summer areas. Propagation is from cuttings in the summer.
Propagation is by division between late autumn and early spring, other species and cultivars are propagated by softwood cuttings in the summer.
