Thunbergia genus (Black-eyed Susan). This genus consists of about 100 species of annuals or perennial twisting climbers and evergreen perennials. They are clump-forming shrubs with entire 5-lobes. The flowers are produce in cylindrical blooms which are borne individually from the leaf axis or in trusses.

They are half hardy to frost tender, min 10-15C. They will grow in any fertile, well drained soil with full sun or light shade in the summer. They will require support. Thin out crowded stems in early spring.
You can propagate by seeds in the spring or by softwood or semi-ripe cuttings in the summer.
