Description

Thymus serpyllum (Wild thyme). This species will grow about 25cm and will spread of 45cm, forming useful ground cover. It has creeping stems which are woody and branching. The leaves are scented, bright green and elliptical to lanceolate. The bluish purple flowers are small and tubular with 2 lips, and are borne in spring and summer in dense terminal whorls.

Cultivation
