Description

Tigridia pavonia (Tiger flower). This species will produce sword-shaped, ribbed upright leaves, with flowers which are rather short-lived blooming in red, yellow orange, or white, with 3 outer petals and 3 inner sepals, surrounding a cup shaped centre speckled with red or yellow. The Tiger flowers will need full sun and protection with rich, well drained soil.
