Description

HAIRS: Absent STIPULES: Absent LEAF-STALK: Short or absent. BRACTS: Absent FLOWER STALK: Thin, upright. SEPALS: Usually 7, very narrow, pointed. PETALS: Usually 7, oval, joined at extreme base. STAMENS: 7 STIGMA: 1, club-shaped; style long. OVARY: 1, 1-celled. SEEDS: 7-11, circular, flattened.
