Trifolium genus (Clover). These are annuals, biennials and perennials, some of which are semi-evergreen, with about 230 species. They have rounded, usually 3 lobed leaves. The heads of the flowers are small and pea-shaped. Some of the species are useful in rock gardens or on banks, others in agriculture.
