Baptisia genus (Wild indigo). These are summer flowering perennials. The leaves are divided into 3-leaflets. It will produce small pea-like blue, purple, yellow, white blooms in terminal spikes. They are fully hardy and will require full sun with deep well drained preferably neutral to acidic soil. You can propagate by division in early spring or by seed in the autumn.
