Description

Ursinia anthemoides. This species of annual is grown for its flowers and lacy fern-like foliage. The blooms are bright yellow and daisy-like with deep purple circles around their yellow centre.

Cultivation

They are frost hardy to frost tender,and require warm, dry climates. Give them full sun and well-drained, moderately fertile soil. Ursinia sometimes becomes lanky and tall and should be supported or staked if needed.

You can propagate from cuttings or seed in the spring. Sow seeds outdoors in May.
