Description

Weigela ‘Candida’ (Weigela). A spreading, bushy shrub producing oval, bright green leaves. In late spring and early summer, bell-shaped, pure white flowers appear.

Cultivation

They are fully to frost hardy, they will prefer full sun or light shade in moist, fertile, well-drained soil. To maintain vigour, prune out a few older branches to ground level, after flowering each year. Straggly, old plants may be pruned hard in spring (though this will lose one season's flowers).

Propagation

You can propagate from softwood cuttings in summer.
