Description

Xeranthemum annuum (Immortelle). This species consists of hardy annuals grown for their flowers, which bloom in a wide-range of colours but usually lavender, rose and blue, in disc-like heads. The leaves are silver and lance-shaped, and the whole plant will grow about 60cm high, with a spread of 45cm. Grow in full sun with well drained soil of at least an average quality.
