Description

Bergenia ‘Pink Ice’ (Elephant's Ears). This rare Bergenia has pinkish white flowers and rust-coloured sepals and flower stems. The glossy leaves are narrower than other bergenias. The name of this cultivar is only tentatively accepted by the RHS.

Cultivation

They are fully to frost hardy and will tolerate sun or shade in any well drained soil, but the leaf colour is best on poor soil and in full sun.

Dry brown rot, slugs, snails and caterpillars. Vine weevil and leaf spot may be a problem.
