Description

Juglans regia ‘Purpurea’ (Purple Leaved Walnut). This is a purple form of the common native walnut, with spring foliage emerging from grey-beige buds in shades of red and purple, turning green-tinged purple as it matures. Purple fruit are produced, which sadly are inedible.
