Description

Plantago major ‘Rosularis’ (Rose Plantain). This is an unusual and edible perennial, popular in the cottage garden in the Middle Ages, which has a flattish rosette of green leaves and flowering stems. The typical flowering spike of the plantain has mutated into ruffled, rose-like leaf bracts.
