Description

Begonia × semperflorens-cultorum (Bedding begonia). This is a half-hardy annual; it is rather compact and will bloom almost continuously in the spring and summer. It is a good choice for a mixed bed or border. You should grow in full sun and rich soil. In a warm climate it may be grown in partial shade. The leaves are very glossy and can be found in variegated cultivars. It will prefer to receive water only on the roots and not on the leaves whenever possible.
