Description

Acer palmatum ‘Kinshi’ (Japanese maple). This plant is similar to 'Koto no ito' but more vigorous and turns a bright golden orange in autumn, which is suggested by the name, which translates as 'with golden threads'. Light green leaves with long tapering, slightly serrated lobes about 7-10 cm long hang on weeping branches.
