Description

Bessera elegans (Coral drops). This variable plant is the only commonly grown species of Bessera. Leaves are grassy and long, approx. 70cms. The flower stems are approx. 45 cm tall but can reach 1 m. The flowerheads carry from 2 to 30 blooms, each about 5 cm wide. The flowers appear in shades of red, pink and purple; they can be mottled in white or green.
