Description

Betula jacquemontii (Jacquemontii birch). This is a tall narrow birch which has bright white bark. It will need ample water, and does not tolerate drought. The leaves are 2-3 in long and will turn yellow in the autumn.

Cultivation

They are fully hardy. You will need to plant in a sunny position in any moist and well drained soil; some species will prefer acidic soil. The young trees should be transplanted in the autumn.
