Description

Bloomeria crocea var. aurea. Native to the USA, this perennial species has very small bulbs, each of which produces a single long, narrow flat leaf and a flowering stem up to 30 cm tall. In spring it bears umbels of bright golden yellow flowers which are up to 25 mm in diameter.
