Borago genus (Borage). This genus consists of climbing bushy annuals and perennials from Europe. They will bear alternate hairy leaves and cymes of blue flowers. For culinary use gather only the young leaves.

They are fully hardy and will require a sunny position and fertile, well drained soil.
Propagation is by seeds sown outdoors in the spring. Some species will self-seed prolifically and they may become a nuisance.
Powdery mildew may be a problem.
