Description

Borago officinalis (Borage). This species is an annual herb. The leaves and flowers have traditionally been used to flavour summer drinks, such as punch or wine, or may be tossed in a salad. They will produce showy flowers and are used to make a flavourful and decorative vinegar. They prefer full sun and a loamy well drained soil, but can tolerate an average, dry soil as well.
