They are frost tender, with min of 7-10C. You should grow them in fertile, well drained soil with full light. Make sure you water moderately in the growing season, and cut back the previous season's lateral growths in the spring, leaving about 2-3cm long spurs.
Propagation is by semi-ripe cuttings in the summer or by hardwood cuttings when dormant.
