Description

Acer pensylvanicum ‘Erythrocladum’ (Moose bark). A hardier cultivar than the species, this small tree or shrub produces bright pink young shoots. In the winter, they change colour, turning orange-red with white stripes up to 10cm wide when they mature. Leaves are serrated, broadly egg-shaped, but heart-shaped at the base and tapering at the ends of the three lobes. Foliage is dark green, turning bright yellow in the autumn.
