Description

Acer platanoides ‘Faasen's Black’ (Norway maple). This cultivar of the Norway Maple has darker, more brownish burgundy leaves, which are glossy and turned up at the margins. They become bright red in the autumn. Yellow-green flowers in corymbs appear in April just before the leaves are fully unfurled, contrasting beautifully.
