Description

Acer saccharinum (Silver maple). This is a deciduous tree with silvery foliage and it has a good autumn colour. This species will spread quickly and will provide a lifetime of summer shade. The leaves are deeply 5-lobed and about 10cms wide; bright green above with silver undersides. In the autumn they turn a mixture of scarlet, orange and yellow.
