Brimeura genus. This genus will prefer spring flowering bulbs which are very similar to miniature bluebells. The leaves are narrow and strap-shaped, and the flowers will bloom in the spring on pendants in various colours. They are grown for their flowers, and can be found in rock gardens and shrub borders. They are frost hardy, and will require partial shade. They will prefer humus-rich, well drained soil. Propagation is by seeds in the autumn or by division in late summer.
