Briza genus (Quaking grass). This genus has around 20 species of annuals and perennials. They will produce large or small clumps of foliage. The flowers are produced in small panicles with heart-shaped leaves. The flowers are bisexual with males and females on the same spikelet, with one or more floret that are covered with glumes or scales.
