Description

Caladium genus (Angel's wings). This genus consists of perennials which are grown for their large ornamental colourful leaves. There are about 7 species from South America. The flower stem will produce a thin green-white spathe.

Cultivation

They are frost tender, min 18-19C, and will require partial shade and moist, humus-rich soil. After leaves die down, store tubers in a frost-free dark place.

Propagation

You can propagate by separating the small tubers when replanting in the spring.
