Description

Caladium × hortulanum (Elephant's ear). They will produce colourful foliage; the leaves will sometimes have light green, white, pink or red colours on each leaf. The flowers will appear intermittently during the growing season and will bear a single bloom on a sturdy stem. The blooms will consist of a white spathe surrounded by a white, tinged with green calyx.

Cultivation

They will prefer bright light or filtered sunlight, but no direct sunlight. You should plant the tubers 1-3ins deep and 1ft apart. Try to protect from the wind.

You can propagate by separating the small tubers when replanting in the spring.
