Description

Callistephus chinensis (China aster). This species is a fast-growing, half hardy annual producing a wide array of cultivars of single or double blossoms in a wide range of colours. Some of the flower-heads are feather-like and appear from mid summer. The heights varies from about 6ins to 3ft, and taller varieties may need staking and regular deadheading in order to produce an abundance of flowers.
