Calochone genus. This genus consists of evergreen, scrambling climbers, which are grown for their showy flowers. They are frost tender, min 5C, and will require humus-rich, well drained soil with full light. You will need to water regularly and less in cold weather. They might need tying to a support, and thin out the crowded stems after flowering. Propagation is by semi-ripe cuttings in the summer.
