Description

Campanula portenschlagiana (Dalmatian bellflower). This species will produce a low-spreading, evergreen perennial, It will produce a profusion of small, star-shaped pinkish purple flowers in late spring through to the autumn. This species should be grown where it can hang, perhaps in a basket arrangement or over a wall as it has a spread of up to 2ft. It will self-sow and can become invasive. In a hot climate shade and moisture are required.

Cultivation
