Cultivation
They are frost tender, min 10-15C and will require a warm, sunny position and humus-rich moist soil. If grown under glass or for summer bedding, encourage into growth in spring at 16C and store rhizomes in slightly damp soil or peat in winter.
Propagation
You can propagate in the spring or by division in the winter or by seed. They need a minimum of 20C to germinate.

Red spider mites can cause a problem under glass.
