Description

Canna × generalis ‘Lucifer’ (Indian shot plant). Purple-green leaves are produced with racemes of red flowers and yellow-edged petals from mid-summer to early autumn.

Cultivation

They are frost tender, min 10-15C and will require a warm, sunny position and humus-rich moist soil. If grown under glass or for summer bedding, encourage into growth in spring at 16C and store rhizomes in slightly damp soil or peat in winter.
